EGN 1002 - Freshmen Engineering class that exposes freshmen engineering students to the eleven (11) engineering disciplines at the University of Florida. For Environmental Engineering, the students learn about the field, the curriculum, and career opportunities before they conduct a hands-on experiment pertaining to water filtration. ENV 4514C - Water and Wastewater Treatment Design - Students design potable water and wastewater treatment plants. ENV 4432 - Potable Water Capstone Design - Senior design course focusing on water treatment plant design. ENV 6932 - Activated Carbon: Environmental Design and Application - Educates students on the manufacturing of activated carbon, applications, design, and reaction. ENV 6932 - Adsorption/Absorption - Course material focuses on the fundamentals of absorption and adsorption reactions.
